As a law student, researcher, and aspiring attorney, Matthew Liam Deegan brings a broad perspective that combines international experience, public service, and business analysis. Currently studying in Williamsburg, Virginia, Matthew Deegan has focused on legal research, international development, journalism, education, and public policy. Before enrolling in his JD program at William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, VA, Matt Deegan’s early professional experiences introduced him to public service and government affairs. As an intern with the office of former Congressman Ron Kind, he assisted with constituent relations, public outreach, and policy research. His responsibilities included analyzing government expenditures, monitoring public concerns, and preparing reports that supported legislative decision-making.
Mr. Deegan has also built a strong background in research and international affairs. While serving as a research assistant at the MIT Sloan School of Management, he contributed to a major study examining cybersecurity governance and digital trade. His work involved analyzing international regulatory frameworks and conducting extensive research on global telecommunications markets.
